(More customer reviews)Amazon didn't state all the features of this watch. It has a perpetual calendar, as stated that will preclude ever setting the date after initial setup. The watch has a feature in which you can set the watch to any other time zone by pushing the recessed side button and set the watch forward or back, date included to correspond to another timezone. You can move it in one hour increments without changing the minute or second hand. This is a very convenient feature for those who travel frequently.
Also, the watch has a two stage sleep function that shuts down the second hand movement merely seconds after detecting darkness, the other hands are shut down after three days in the dark which means the watch after a full charge is capable of keeping accurate time for up to 5 years in darkness before running out of power. In either case, as soon as the watch detects a small amount of light, the hands will move to the precise time.
The watch is very nice looking with the right blend of sportiness and dress. The top ring bezel and sides are polished stainless steel while the lug tops are brushed steel. Also, the watch is rated at 200 meters water resistant with a leather band that handles moisture, sweat or the water very well. I am very pleased with my purchase.
