From Stuhrling Original's Sportsman's Series, the Concorso Series represents what sports is all about……competition. "Concorso" means "competition," and the newest member of the series is the Concorso Chronograph. Supported with racing style numerals, markers and hands, the genuine carbon fiber dial with its sub-dials anchors a look and feel directly from the instrument panel of a racecar! The engine that powers this sporty timepiece is the precision Citizen-Miyota OS20 quartz chronograph movement with a stop-center second-hand, thirty minute counter, small seconds, twelve hour counter, small seconds and a quick set date complication. The large Arabic numeral at twelve, as well as the bullet indices have all been individually applied to the genuine carbon fiber dial. The sleek sport style hour and minute hands have been treated with the same Super Luminova™ as have the hour markers. The razor-thin, stop-center second-hand features a red arrowhead; and just beyond the perimeter of the main dial is the outer track chapter ring trimmed with gauge-like minute and seconds markers complementing the overall theme of the Concorso Chronograph. The entirety of the dial has been recessed into the classic 46-millimeter round case which has been constructed of the finest grade of stainless steel, 316L. The bezel has been beveled and engraved with a tachymeter to complement the racing theme while the stout guard rails protect the 7.5mm knurled edge crown. With dual 'O" rings on the inside of the crown, the Concorso Chronograph allows for water resistance to 50 meters. The crystal that covers the captivating face is Krysterna™ for durability.On the flipside, the Concorso di Tempo stays true to its theme with a solid stainless steel screwed-in case-back that has been decorated with a checkered flag design akin to the carbon fiber weave on the face. The final accoutrement is the genuine leather strap and clasp that joins this impressive timepiece to your wrist. The 22mm wide strap boasts a checkerboard pattern with color-coordinated contrast stitching and edging. Gentlemen……Start you engines!
