(More customer reviews)I picked up my Citizen Calibre 2100 about two months ago and I absolutely love it. I opted for the one with the black face since I found it a bit easier to read.
The watch itself is quite substantial. It has a real solid feel and appears to be very well built. I have taken the watch into pools and the ocean on several occasions (though never to any significant depth) and have yet to see any kind of water intrusion. Just make sure the bezel is fully locked down!
The watch itself looks magnificent. My father has a Breitling Navitimer and I think this watch looks every bit as good as his. Yes, I know it's not a Breitling and it's like comparing a Volkswagen to a Bentley, but I've always liked the look of the Breitling and I think Citizen does a good job capturing that look with the Calibre 2100.
The "Eco-Drive" on this watch's designation means that it is solar powered. I find this to be a very nifty feature. I have yet to see the power meter dip below full charge, though it is summer and I am wearing short sleeves a lot.
I highly recommend this watch.

More than just a pretty face, the Citizen Eco-Drive Calibre 2100 men's stainless steel watch offers stylish lines that nicely complement both business and casual couture. But it's also one of the most advanced chronograph watches made by Citizen, offering a reset button that instantly returns all the chronograph registers to zero. The chronograph timing function includes 60-minute, 12-hour, and independent second-hand subdials, as well as a center sweep 1/5-second hand.
This large, round watch has a thin, flattened bezel with an exterior tachymeter reading in black. The black dial face is accented by black subdials, and it offers white luminous Dauphine hands (with seconds hand) and a date function at 4 o'clock. The stainless steel bracelet band is joined by a fold-over deployment clasp. Other features include a screw-back case, screw-down crown, scratch resistant mineral crystal with anti-reflective coating, and water resistance to 660 feet (200 meters).
This watch is powered by Citizen's unique Eco-Drive, which absorbs sunlight and any artificial light through the crystal and dial to recharge the watch continuously. With regular exposure to light, the Eco-Drive continuously recharges itself for a lifetime of use. This watch's Eco-Drive provides a 240-day power reserve, and it can be recharged with just 3.5 hours of exposure to light.
