I love the eco-drive technology, battery failures are a thing of the past. I'm not a "tree hugger" but I do try to be environment friendly whenever possible.
I've owned this watch for 3 weeks and it has kept perfect time. The whitish numberals and markers on the black face make it easy to read even in poorly lit rooms.
If you are looking for a dependable, easy to read watch without a lot of bells and whistles, you should consider this Citizen Eco-drive model.
