It's economical, ecological, AND looks respectable in both casual and business environments. I've only had it a month now but so far I'm very happy. My wrists are on the smaller size so the relatively smaller diameter watch and band work great for me. I easily re-sized the band using one of the band tools Amazon sells (Watch Band Link Remover Tool Kit). Citizen's Eco-Drive is ingenious and I think it's a great advance for electronic quartz watches.
Many years ago, my father instructed me that proper neckties look good without distracting from your overall presentation. This watch is like that. The two-tone design is good looking and understated without being gaudy. I also looked at some of the famous name European mechanical watches, but just can't justify spending thousands on a timepiece that will probably cost more to repair than this watch costs to buy.
Shortcomings: I wish they'd made it more water resistant (it's only resistant for rain or hand washing). It's not engineered for shower or swimming. The date is too small--nearly impossible to read without my glasses, and even not that easy with, especially after the 9th of the month when they squeeze 2 digits in. Otherwise would have given 5 stars.
