(More customer reviews)I bought another Citizen recently Citizen Men's BM8222-56P Eco-Drive Gold-Tone Day-Date Watch and was very happy with that watch. So I thought I will order this, looking at the beautiful picture in Amazon web site; big disappointment when I got to see it in person, after I got the watch.
The dials and the hands are not clearly visible in the day time on this watch due to quite some reflection in day light. Since all the components (dial and the hands) are made of similar looking metal finish, it is hard to quickly see the time, minutes, or chronograph dials.
And even worse, the watch I received, the chronograph didn't work after a day of keeping the watch outside. (Watch was not running as I opened the watch because there was no charge, but it started running after a few minutes of day light exposure in the house, but then chronograph never worked even after a day of exposure; so I had to return my watch). May be it needs more than a day of indoor light, but the manual doesn't say much about this.
One good thing I noticed is that the numbers and the hour/minute hand are readable in the night, in the dark because of the phosphors (but day time it is not that great!)
This watch is also a little heavier than what I expected of chronograph watches with similar features.
The only good thing is the Eco-drive technology and the Citizen quality.
