(More customer reviews)I've had this watch for two months now and wear it every day to both work and casual social occasions. It looks great in titanium, a sort-of brushed taupe-silver color with a few subtle unbrushed shiny accents at the edges of the case, and weighs hardly anything, despite its substantial appearance. I'm a teacher, so a reliable, durable watch is very important to me. I was looking for a solar-powered watch so I wouldn't have to worry about batteries, and I wanted one that was very water-resistant, light-weight, and with an unscratchable sapphire crystal. (I also tried on some similar Citizen stainless-steel Eco-Drive watches, but they were much heavier.) I have small wrists, but the band size is easily reduced.
** IGNORE THE "PRODUCT DESCRIPTION" FOR THE "SILHOUETTE" WATCH! ** The watch looks EXACTLY as shown in the photographs at the top of the page. The watch clasp folds over and clicks shut with two buttons, but there is NOT an additional safety clasp on the end, as the description claims. The dial is a soft gray and the hour numerals and markers are in beveled, shiny titanium, which glint attractively, yet are pretty easy to read. This might be considered a shortcoming if instant visibility of the time is most important for you, because the gray-on-gray tones are more stylish than instantly readable - the same for the date window. I like the look, however, and have received compliments on the watch. The hands and numerals are luminous in the dark, though not super bright. It keeps perfect time, so the solar power system is working fine. All-in-all, this is a handsome, tough watch for everyday and sports wear.
